Goodbye, Beijing

Goodbye Rotary International Convention

Goodbye Sydney, city of harbors

Goodbye peaceful Blue Mountains.

It's great to be alive and a small part of this big, beautiful world.
A great way to end our trip was at the Great Wall of China. The phenomenal feat of construction stretches 400 miles on a beautiful mountain range. That's just in Beijing. The rest of it is thousands of miles long! Seeing it made me feel the same way I did watching the first man on the moon.
Breathtaking as it is mind boggling, thousands of people died building the Great Wall more than 2,500, years ago, making it the longest cemetery in the world.

Sydney. Cool...

NOT cool.  $20 Dirty Martini...and I drank it.

Hello again, Sydney! We are in our room awaiting our luggage in a swank, artsy, eclectic hotel called QT Sydney.

Tres cool...

A real "hand held" mirror!! See the little black fingers holding it?

Notice the top hat light suspended beside the bed.

Ah. What have we here? Espresso martinis with instructions?

Votre sante'! What a way to start the last leg of our journey home...

Morning hike before we left the Blue Mountains. Farewell to a peaceful connection with my soul.

...and a few final photographs of beautiful Mountaintop Villa where the six of us stayed.

Goodbye, house. Goodbye, Blue Mountains. It's back to Sydney...
We spent today in a place called Scenic World in the Blue Mountains. I'll let the photos do the talking.
